We held “Tabunka Hirometai training seminar”.

At Futaba International Center, we hold an international understanding project called “Tabunka Hirometai” (cultural diversity spread team / We want to introduce our cultures).  People from foreign countries give a presentation about their country or region for children who are in children centers or childcare corners.

This time we held “Tabunka Hirometai training seminar” on May 27th to dispatch foreign people as a teacher in June as a spring project in financial year 2023. As foreign teachers, 32 people from 12 countries and regions, including international students, workers, and child raisers participated in this event.

We shared feedback which were given by children centers last year. We learned that presentation should be with furigana and simple language for children in the lower grades.

After the training seminar, the staff of 16 children centers that foreign instructors are going to visit came and had a meeting with the instructors.
