Air conditioner is often used in summer and winter. Even during the rainy season, you can spend a comfortable time by using the air conditioner. The directions on the remote controller are written in Japanese. Let’s learn the meaning of directions and how to use air conditioner!
Buttons
- 冷房(れいぼうReibou) AC (Air Conditioner)
This course is used when you want to cool a room.
- 除湿（じょしつ Zyositsu） Dry
This course is used when you want to dry a room.
- 暖房(だんぼう Danbou) Heater
This course is used when you want to warm the room.
- 風向き(かざむき Kazamuki) Wind Direction
When you press this button, the wind direction is changed.
- 内部クリーン(ないぶくりーん Naibu kurin) Internal cleaning
When you press this button, the internal air conditioner is cleaned.
- 温度(おんど Ondo) Temperature
The letter 「温度（おんど）」is usually written between the upward arrow and downward arrow. When you want to raise the temperature, please push the upward arrow and when you want to drop the temperature, please push the downward arrow.
- 風量(ふうりょう Huuryou) Air flow
When you want to change the air volume, please press this button.
- しずか (Sizuka) Low air flow
This course has low air flow and makes the sound of air conditioner soft.
- 切タイマー(きりたいまー Kiri Taima) Off timer
When you want to turn off the air conditioner in a few hours, please use this function. You can often choose from 1 hour to 12 hours later.
- 入タイマー (いりたいまー Iri Taima)In timer
When you want to turn on the air conditioner in a few hours, please use this function. You can often choose from 1 hour to 12 hours later.
It is recommended to use off timer and in timer when you are sleeping. If you set the air conditioner to turn off after a while after going to bed, and turn it on 1 hour to 30 minutes before waking up, you can save on electricity bills and wake up comfortably. Also, if you expect the time when you come back and set the in timer before going out, you can spend a comfortable time just after you come back home.
- 取消（とりけし Torikeshi） Cancel
Please press this button when you want to cancel the setting you chose.
- 自動(じどう Zidou) Auto
When you press this button, the air conditioner chooses the setting automatically.
- 停止(ていし Teishi) Stop
Please press this button when you want to turn off the air conditioner.
- 送風(そうふう Soufuu) Fan
When you press this button, the wind comes out of the air conditioner. The temperature of the wind is the same as the temperature of the room.
Recommended usage
In rainy season in Japan, it is humid, and the temperature is high. It is damp and uncomfortable weather. In such season, dry mode is recommended. Even if you do not feel cool in cooling mode, you may feel cool in dry mode. Dry mode works well in rainy season. Also, the recommended temperature in heating mode is 20 degrees and in cooling mode is 28 degrees. You may think the recommended temperature in heating mode is low and in cooling mode is high. However, you can spend a comfortable time with these temperatures by using other goods. Let’s set the recommended temperature and save electricity bill!
